Being LEED certifiable, Waterfront Housing included many environmentally sensitive design solutions. Situated in Burlington, Vermont on the North end of Lake Street Extension (also designed by GBA), forty mixed income apartments, including underground parking, make up the project. The design is an L-shaped structure embedded into the hillside to provide a communal courtyard, good solar orientation, and reduced scale of a four-story structure.
