2004 AIA Vermont Excellence in Architecture Award

Woodbury College commissioned GBA to design a 14,000 sq. ft. addition and to renovate the original structure. Program elements include meeting rooms, a large training center, a kitchen, an information center/law library, offices and support spaces. The massing is a typical Vermont form, compatible with the existing structure. While the existing building is massive and inward focusing, the new building is open and inviting, taking full advantage of its solar orientation.
