Dan Wheeler, AIA Assoc., CPHC

Architectural Designer

After years working as a carpenter, Dan pursued a career in architecture because of its potential to uplift both the individual spirit, and whole communities.  Since moving to Vermont in 2007, the buildings and places designed by gbA have served as inspiration.

Dan heads up the studio’s AIA 2030 Commitment, documenting energy performance with the intent of tracking the firm’s progress in designing for energy efficiency and carbon neutrality by the year 2030.  He has recently completed training to become a PHIUS Passive House Certified Consultant.

Dan received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Wheaton College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture from Norwich University.
