Burlington, VT

79 Pine is a nine-story residential tower design to reinforce the City of Burlington’s goal for achieving high-density mixed income housing within the downtown core. The project consists of 49 apartments with a wide variety of layouts and types serving a broad range of income levels wishing to embrace urban living. The developer asked for an iconic building that will be a downtown landmark and be constructed utilizing green building practices.

The project includes a high performance exterior shell, green roof and photovoltaic canopy covered parking. It is a transit oriented project located on a local bus line and within a short three block walk to both the downtown multi-modal transit center and the Amtrak train station. There are also EV charging stations for residents, covered bike parking. The interior layout features a remarkably high percentage of corner apartments which have panoramic city and lake views.
